Saturday was a marathon of events for the Drum family. It started bright and early on Saturday morning with J.T.'s 5th skating lesson.
J.T. was a little wobbly at first because we decided to go up a size in skates and try out hockey skates for the first time. It didn't go so well!
After a bit, his teacher asked us to put him in figure skates as he was getting a bit frustrated from all the falling down. He did so much better with the change and even tried skating on one leg.
Zoe was feeling all lovey dovey at skating and daddy was on the receiving end.
By the end of lessons, J.T. was used to his size 12T skates and was in full swing!
After skating, it was off to lunch at Corner Bakery. Zoe and mommy partook in a game of high fives.
When lunch was done, it was off to Disney Magic Show at the US Airways Arena in downtown Phoenix.
We had a great time at the show, but it was time to head home. When we arrived, J.T. has some boxes waiting on the doorstep. After a quick change of clothes, he opened his presents and it was off to church!
After church, it was home for another quick change of clothes and off to the Coyotes Game!!! We arrived to a suite full of snacks. The kids were in heaven and wasted no time making sure we didn't leave one single morsel.
It was a long day, but it was a fun day. Nothing felt better, though, than to lay down and get some sleep!
