J.T.'s 5th Birthday Party

Today was J.T.'s first real birthday party with all his friends.  We held it at the XRKade in Glendale.  He invited all of his friends from playgroup and a couple from school.  It was a good turnout and everyone had a GREAT time!

The festivities actually started on Friday night with mommy frosting cupcakes for about 2 hours.  I was happy with the outcome and J.T. was excited as well.

On Sunday morning, we arrived at the party place and soon the action started.  Here are some photos of the actual place...

The kids started off the party with one hour in the play room.  By the end of the hour, we had some sweaty, but excited kids.

After some serious playtime, it was PIZZA TIME!

What is a party without CUPCAKES!!!

I think cupcake time was Zoe's favorite part!

Finally, before some last few minutes on the inflatables, it was time for the Pinata!  Daddy stood on a chair and each person was given a chance to pull a string.  Amazingly, it came down to the last string and lucky Zoe was the last in line!

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the party.  J.T. is very, very fortunate to have such a GREAT group of friends!

  1. Did you put the goodie bags inside the pinata?! What a brilliant idea! Cuts down on mess AND keeps away the greedy-monster. SO wish we could have been there. That place is a blast! Miss you guys!!!

  2. No, I passed them out before we went at the pinata. It was a pull string and it made it to the last string! They were relatively calm and collected grabbing the candy!!! Wish you could have been there, we really did miss you tons!!!
