Baseball and T-ball

Finally, we will get some pictures up for J.T.'s baseball.  It was a little dark his first game and he didn't hit the ball so well.  His second and third games were much better and he has gone 6 for 6 at the plate since game 1!  Here are some pics and video from J.T.'s baseball and some more of Zoe's t-ball!!!

Zoe's 1st t-ball game

Yesterday was Zoe's first t-ball game of what will be a long career!!!!  She plays for the Lakewood Blueclaws and daddy is her coach.  I don't know if she was more excited to play the game, or finally be the one to get a snack when it is all over!  I will tell you one thing, she is the cutest t-baller out there!

Hoops for Heart

Today, J.T. participated in his second Hoops for Heart event.  It was a hot day, 80 degrees, but he had a great time and is showing signs of improvement on his basketball skills!  Thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause.  J.T. raised $700 this year, up $225 from last year!  AWESOME!!!

Wing Mountain Sledding

John and I have been talking about taking the kids sledding for a few years now, and we finally did it!  We made our first, of what I hope will be many, trips up to Flagstaff to go sledding at Wing Mountain.  When we got there, we were the 4th car in line.  The weather was very nice...sunny and no wind.  As the morning went on, the wind picked up, the clouds rolled in and the people started to gather!

J.T. charged all in with no fear what-so-ever.  Zoe was a little nervous until her first time down, then all was fine.  I was a little worried about how Wyatt would handle not being able to move very well.  He LOVED it.  He loved being pulled in the sled and he loved going down the hills.  He last about an hour, until the winds picked up and he started getting cold.  All in all...we had a GREAT time!!
