J.T. turns 8!

Yesterday was J.T.'s 8th birthday and I can hardly believe it.  We spend Sunday at the Science Museum and Planetarium to celebrate.  The kid LOVES space!  On Tuesday, after hockey practice, we hosted his Mission team, and a few other hockey friends, for some pizza and cake.  It was a great time and nice to spend time with the amazing friends we have made over the last 8 years.  Here are a few pictures and video of the big birthday!

Wyatt's New Trick

I never thought I would see the day...

The past two weeks the kids have been in swimming lessons and what a difference even a month has made. We tried a new pool this year, maybe that was the trick.  I really didn't think I would see the day that J.T. was swimming.  It is a miracle!!! He still gets freaked out when he can't touch, but I will take what I can get!

Baseball and T-ball

Finally, we will get some pictures up for J.T.'s baseball.  It was a little dark his first game and he didn't hit the ball so well.  His second and third games were much better and he has gone 6 for 6 at the plate since game 1!  Here are some pics and video from J.T.'s baseball and some more of Zoe's t-ball!!!

Yesterday was Zoe's first t-ball game of what will be a long career!!!!  She plays for the Lakewood Blueclaws and daddy is her coach.  I don't know if she was more excited to play the game, or finally be the one to get a snack when it is all over!  I will tell you one thing, she is the cutest t-baller out there!

Hoops for Heart

Today, J.T. participated in his second Hoops for Heart event.  It was a hot day, 80 degrees, but he had a great time and is showing signs of improvement on his basketball skills!  Thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause.  J.T. raised $700 this year, up $225 from last year!  AWESOME!!!
